Full name Olufunmi Olajoyegbe. A voice built over decades — trained, disciplined, and given almost entirely to worship. She performs rarely, and only when an occasion asks for exactly that.

Her mother, Helga Banjo, sang opera before marriage — the house Olufunmi grew up in already had music running through it before she ever chose to sing herself. What began as inheritance became discipline under her secondary school music teacher, Mrs Amorelle Inanga, who trained her formally in voice and piano.
Outside music, she's an architect by training — a graduate of the University of Lagos — which perhaps explains the structure in how she builds a set: nothing included that doesn't need to be there.
Her recorded work includes Let Me Be Ready, Over and Over, Go Quick, Say J, and You Give Me Joy. Many Nigerians also know her voice from TY Bello's Ekundayo, on which she featured.

WHEN THE ROOM MUST FALL SILENT FIRST
Some occasions carry a weight beyond hospitality — a ceremony that will be remembered beyond the day itself, an opening that needs to settle a room before anyone speaks. For gatherings of that character, Olufunmi is available, by special arrangement, to open proceedings with the kind of vocal presence such moments are built around: measured, dignified, and equal to what the occasion is actually marking.

Where an event is built around faith — a dedication, a thanksgiving, a service that wants to close in worship rather than applause — she draws from the repertoire she has ministered in for over two decades. It isn't a request line: her calling has always run toward songs of worship, and every booking is considered inside that frame, not around it.

In 2004, she co-founded the GiG Time Fellowship with her husband, Oladiran “Diran” Olajoyegbe — a home for performing artists trying to hone their craft without losing their footing in faith. It has since grown into the GiG Time Reforms Foundation.
She currently serves as Vice Chair of the Society for the Performing Arts in Nigeria (SPAN), which trains performing artists toward excellence in their fields.

Olufunmi is married to Diran, Eventually Events' Founder & Director — which makes this less an artist booking and more an invitation into the family the Olajoyegbes have built around this company for over two decades.
